Elsa Launches It’s New “The Garden” Food Court

August 25, 2021

Things at the upcoming Pacific Trails park in Elsa have begun in earnest with the multi-
functional facility that will include an elaborate exercise/bike trails system with a bike rental
program, a complete family recreational area that will have numerus children’s playscapes, a
water splash pad, a skate board park, a beach volleyball court and, of course, a food/beverage
court to quench the thirst and appetite of park goers. The Garden at Pacific Trails was recently
completed and went through its soft open-house informal opening on Thursday, August 19,2021.
The warmup event featured two renowned Valley comedians that entertained an audience
comprised primarily of city employees and officials. A full blown grand opening is scheduled for
September 16, 2021, with the entertainment headliners scheduled to be live mariachis and the
Selena Forever Tribute Band. “This soft grand opening event was a practice run for this new
facility. We wanted to make sure that we worked out all the kinks before we invited the general
public to join us in future events”, remarked Elsa mayor Al Perez. “Our members of the City
Council and the EDC board members were there and ecstatic about this facility’s future for our
community. We can’t wait to showcase all of our Pacific Trails facilities to our residents and the
entire Valley”, he added.
The completion of The Garden marks the first feature of the park to be finished, with the trails
system approximately 30% completed at this time. The food/beverage court will offer food
vending spaces for up to 10 private businesses along with a beer/wine serving bar. The attractive
court area has a performing stage for an array of venues that will attract audiences from
throughout the Valley. Future notable entertainment attractions include Steve and his Barroom
Buddies, Southern Ashes, Michael Salgado, The Last Bandoleros, Lucky Joe, Elida Reyna, and
many others that are currently fan favorites of the Valley. Additional comedy performances will
be sprinkled throughout future dates. A listing of future entertainment venues will be posted on
the city’s website.
The Garden is to open for business on a Thursday-Saturday schedule for the foreseeable future.
Any changes to the schedule will be posted in the city’s website.
