La Villa best Friends open fashion boutique

March 8, 2021

When Casandra Altamirano and Julie Gonzalez became friends 20 years ago in Elementary at La Villa ISD, they had no idea they would also one day own a business together. But that dream became a reality when they opened up “Come and Take it”, a fashion boutique in Edcouch Texas in February. The boutique offers a mixture of both western and modern looks of fashion along with apparel.

These best friends’ class of 2010 are both moms and wives and wear many hats that come with being a business owner. “The concept of opening up a boutique was to make fashion and apparel more affordable and still look amazing, what makes our boutique unique is that we welcome everyone in and treat them as if they were family. When customers come in, we see them as a friend, someone we can build a relationship with”, says Cassandra. Another unique component is fashion consulting. These owners are on top of their customer service and will help you put together an outfit along with its apparel.

The advice these two owners have for anyone that want to start up a business is “Just do it, set a goal, reach it and continue setting more goals and meeting them”.
Come and Take it is located in Hwy 107 in Edcouch. They offer sizes small- 2XL. Hours of operation are 11am-6pm.

You can take advantage of purchasing on Facebook live. To get updates on sales and giveaways, follow them on Facebook: Come and Take it.
